Line Cook
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing a variety of menu items according to established recipes, standards, and health codes. Working under the direction of the Head Chef or Sous Chef, each Line Cook is typically assigned a specific station-such as grill, sauté, pantry, or prep-and plays an essential role in ensuring high-quality food presentation and consistency.
Additional responsibilities include proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food items, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and upholding all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of food & beverage or kitchen experience preferred
Supervisory Experience : None required
Licenses / Certifications : Food Handlers card
Physical Requirements
Push / pull carts and equipment up to 150 pounds
Ability to endure constant physical movement throughout work areas
Work in kitchen, restaurant, and throughout hotel property as needed
Comfortable working in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels
Must be able to stand and maintain mobility for up to 8 hours
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
