Senior Program Manager

TECKpert is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support our client, a government agency in Orlando, FL. The Program Manager will serve as the focal point for planning, organizing, and ensuring the performance of all contract requirements. This role is responsible for managing program operations, maintaining client relationships, overseeing budgets, and leading cross-functional teams.

Job duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Organize, direct, and manage contract operations involving multiple complex projects and interrelated tasks.
  • Act as the single point of contact with the client, managing senior-level communications and ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
  • Manage diverse teams including contracts, subcontracts, financial analysts, and project management personnel across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and manage corporate / client interface.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government stakeholders.
  • Oversee budget execution and reporting; prepare financial forecasts and ROM estimates.
  • Support business development activities to identify, pursue, and secure contract growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings to corporate and government leadership.

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $170,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

A successful candidate possesses or provides the following :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of program management experience.
  • Active PMP certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of defense contracting policies and procedures.
  • Experience with USG contracts, budgeting, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to recruit, lead, and retain personnel in support of mission objectives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligible for TS / SCI clearance (sponsorship available).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
