Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Material Process Operator (MPO) to work onsite with our client, a global leader in consumer goods manufacturing. This is a full-time contract role with the possibility to extend based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities :
Safely load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies using powered industrial trucks, including forklifts.
Operate production machinery within the Mixing and / or Packaging departments according to established SOPs.
Make routine equipment adjustments, clear jams, and ensure machinery runs efficiently during all phases of production.
Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
Operate palletizing equipment and prepare finished goods for storage or outbound shipment.
Perform computer data entry to record production information and monitor instrumentation throughout the shift.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment issues; escalate when needed.
Execute routine and preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Maintain housekeeping standards, including cleaning equipment and keeping the work area organized.
Follow all Clorox, OSHA, and site-specific safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout / tagout practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Must-Have Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and every 3rd Sunday.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Basic computer proficiency and comfort using production systems.
Strong safety awareness and commitment to working in a hazard-controlled environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial operations.
Troubleshooting experience with pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment.
Experience with preventive maintenance processes.
Prior experience in consumer products, chemical, or food manufacturing environments.
