Lead Data Scientist - Drive

About the Team

DoorDash provides solutions for merchants to grow their business on their own channels. A wide range of merchants, from restaurants to grocery stores to pharmacies, rely on DoorDash’s white label delivery service, Drive on-demand, to offer delivery through their own apps and websites. We are looking for an Analytics Lead for a rapidly growing new business vertical within Drive.

About the Role

As a  Lead, Data Scientist, you will develop strategic insights and work closely with the product, engineering, strategy, and operations teams to actively build and measure the impact of new features. You will oversee our metrics and analytics strategy to inform product direction, offer technical leadership, and build processes to support velocity, and partner with data and product engineers to build robust data foundations.

• Develop a strategic learning roadmap based on data observations, strategic questions, and hypotheses

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
