Summary :
The Director of Programming and Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of The FLY Initiative's educational programs and internal operations. This individual will ensure the fidelity, growth, and impact of FLY's personal finance education model across all markets, while supporting cross-functional collaboration and operational efficiency within the organization. The Director will lead program design, implementation, data-driven performance evaluation, and staff management across departments.

Essential Duties :

Lead the design, development, and execution of FLY's personal finance and youth-centered education programsEnsure curriculum fidelity, program scalability, and impact through strategic planning and innovationOversee quality assurance protocols, ensuring programs meet equity, accessibility, and pedagogical standardsSupervise program managers, coordinators, and instructional teamsSet performance goals, provide professional development, and foster a collaborative team cultureBuild internal capacity to scale programs effectively across multiple statesOversee and enhance internal operational systems and workflows to optimize program deliveryCollaborate with the finance team to develop and manage program budgetsDevelop standard operating procedures and knowledge management toolsCultivate and maintain strategic relationships with schools, community partners, funders, and government agenciesRepresent FLY in key external meetings and forumsSupport grant reporting and data-sharing needsLead the monitoring and evaluation framework for all programmatic activitiesAnalyze program performance data to inform strategic decisionsProduce internal and external reporting aligned with funder and organizational impact metricsIdentify opportunities for program innovation and geographic expansionLead pilots and strategic initiatives to explore new frontiers in financial literacy educationSupervisory Responsibilities :

Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Public Policy, or related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in program management, nonprofit operations, or educationDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and data systemsStrong knowledge of financial education, youth development, or social impact workLanguage Skills :
Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholdersMathematical Skills :
Budget development and financial oversightData analysis and performance measurementReasoning Ability :
