Concrete Estimator

Location : Hutto, TX

Salary : $80k-$120k + Commission ($120k-$180k OTE)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Concrete Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, materials, and labor for concrete projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide precise and timely estimates for various concrete applications such as commercial, municipal, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates for concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to gather information needed for accurate estimation.
  • Maintain a database of pricing and supplier information to ensure competitive estimates.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and bids for concrete projects.
  • Monitor project budgets and costs during construction to ensure compliance with estimates.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods and materials.
  • Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in commercial, municipal, and residential concrete projects is preferred.
