Job Opening : Class B Water Tender Driver - Wildfire Support

Location : Various wildfire sites across Oregon

Pay Rate : $500 / day (12-hour shifts) - $41.67 / hr (Day Shift)

Schedule : Seasonal, on-call during wildfire season

About the Role :

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious drivers to operate water tenders in support of wildfire suppression and forestry operations. This critical role involves delivering water to remote wildfire sites, often via rugged terrain including fire roads, forest service roads, and logging roads.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate a Class B water tender in remote and challenging environments
  • Deliver water to wildfire crews and forestry operations
  • Navigate fire roads, forest service roads, and logging roads with confidence
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and prioritize safety at all times
  • Sit and drive for extended periods (12-hour shifts)

Requirements :

  • Valid Class B CDL or higher
  • Proven experience driving commercial vehicles on logging roads, fire roads, and forest service roads
  • Physically fit to meet CDL requirements
  • Reliable, alert, and safety-focused
  • Comfortable working in remote areas and under wildfire conditions
