Data Analyst

As a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst at Labcorp you will be the guardian of financial master data across Oracle Fusion Cloud and legacy systems. Your work ensures data integrity consistency and accuracy enabling seamless financial operations and informed business decisions. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams optimize data processes and contribute to global system enhancements.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Chart of Accounts (COA) Maintenance

Support updates and maintenance of COA structures in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Assist in validating COA changes against financial reporting requirements. Participate in testing and validation of COA updates during system upgrades and patch deployments.

Customer Data Management

Process and validate customer data updates in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Ensure timely and accurate entry of customer records hierarchies and attributes. Collaborate with business units to resolve data discrepancies and ensure alignment with business rules.

Legacy System Support

Maintain master data in legacy ERP systems. Ensure accurate mapping between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud. Participate in data migration and reconciliation efforts during system upgrades or transitions

Data Quality & Governance

Perform regular audits to identify and correct data quality issues. Support data governance initiatives and adhere to data management policies. Document data processes and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.

Minimum Education and Experience Required :

Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Administration Finance or related field

12 years of experience in data management preferably in an ERP environment (e.g. Oracle Fusion Cloud SAP or similar enterprise systems).

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with data mapping and reconciliation between systems

Exposure to data governance frameworks

Knowledge of legacy ERP systems (Hyperion HFM Peoplesoft)

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus

Skills and Competencies :

Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar ERP systems

Basic understanding of financial structures including COA

Strong Excel skills

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Worksite Location : Hybrid (This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham NC locations and two remote workdays per week supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
