Now Hiring : Community Inclusion Specialist
Location : Palm Beach County, FL | Full-Time
Salary Range : $53,000.00-$55,000.00

The Opportunity :
Are you compassionate, patient, and passionate about making a difference? As a Community Inclusion Specialist , you will play a vital role in helping children and adults with developmental disabilities access out-of-school programs, develop life skills, and experience new growth opportunities. You will serve as a coach, mentor, and advocate, helping OST (out-of-school time) programs create inclusive environments where all individuals can succeed.

Key Responsibilities :
Recruit OST programs and staff to participate in inclusion coaching and trainingsBuild and maintain relationships with families, program staff, and community partnersAssess individual skills and program needs to develop inclusion strategiesProvide coaching, modeling, and support to integrate individuals with developmental disabilities into inclusive settingsShare resources and information on inclusion strategies with families, community programs, and team membersMaintain all required documentation and compliance with agency and funder standardsMarket Arc services to the community in collaboration with other departmentsProvide additional site visits and ongoing support as neededQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMinimum 2 years of experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and exercise professional judgmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareValid Florida Driver’s License and minimum state auto insurance requirementsPhysical Requirements :
Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, lift, and carry equipmentAbility to drive to OST sites and perform active, hands-on coaching (summer work may include outdoor activities)Why Join Us :
