job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRecruit OST programs and staff to participate in inclusion coaching and trainings Build and maintain relationships with families, program staff, and community partners Assess individual skills and program needs to develop inclusion strategies Provide coaching, modeling, and support to integrate individuals with developmental disabilities into inclusive settings Share resources and information on inclusion strategies with families, community programs, and team members Maintain all required documentation and compliance with agency and funder standards Market Arc services to the community in collaboration with other departments Provide additional site visits and ongoing support as needed Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Valid Florida Driver’s License and minimum state auto insurance requirements Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, lift, and carry equipment Ability to drive to OST sites and perform active, hands-on coaching (summer work may include outdoor activities)

Our compassionate team supports over 3,500 children, teens, and adults, helping them live, learn, work, and thrive in an inclusive community.
The Opportunity :
Are you compassionate, patient, and passionate about making a difference? As a Community Inclusion Specialist , you will play a vital role in helping children and adults with developmental disabilities access out-of-school programs, develop life skills, and experience new growth opportunities. You will serve as a coach, mentor, and advocate, helping OST (out-of-school time) programs create inclusive environments where all individuals can succeed.
