job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRestaurant Management Team This is not a managerial position Advancing the Grove Bay Mission Statement and Core Values Delivering exceptional hospitality to all guests Upholding all core Standard Operating Procedures Coaching hourly team members in the moment Training and developing new team members Handling guest issues in a respectful manner Following opening and closing procedures Cash handling following Grove Bay SOP Ability to expedite in adherence with the Grove Bay SOP Strong understanding of operational systems Toast, OpenTable, R365 Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant ensure the restaurant is showroom-ready at all times Performing general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars Preparing and editing documents, including correspondence, reports, and presentations Assisting with data entry and record-keeping Coordinating and scheduling meetings and appointments Conducting research and gathering information as needed Maintaining office supplies and inventory Providing support to other team members as necessary Providing supervisor support for all locations Strong attention to detail and focus on process excellence Ability to learn and bring innovative ideas to the team Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to set and meet deadlines Successful completion of Grove Bay's training program, including all EdApp training content Food and Alcohol Safety training (ServSafe) Ability to move throughout the venue during shifts (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods Ability to sit for extended periods Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and a loud / noisy environment Must be an A Player and endorsed by the Management Team, Director of Operations, and Training Department Must have worked within a venue or another Grove Bay restaurant for a minimum of 4 months Prior supervisor experience Multiple language abilities are a plus; fluency in English is required High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred Proven experience as a supervisor, administrative assistant, or in a similar role Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Previous experience in supervising, order entry, data entry, or proofreading is a plus
