Position Summary

The UV Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the UV systems to ensure the safety and quality of beverages produced in the plant. This role involves monitoring UV equipment, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift (8 : 30 PM - 5 : 00 AM). Training will occur during the 2nd shift.

Working and Environmental Conditions

Work performed in a wet, refrigerated manufacturing facility with temperatures below 40°ree;F, with occasional tasks in dry warehouses (up to 85°ree;F) or freezer environments (as low as -10°ree;F).

Exposure to noisy environments exceeding 85 dBA.

Work areas may be tight; continuous PPE use (safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toed shoes) is required.

Must be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and safely.

May require forklift certification and operation, including maintenance and inspections.

Physical Demands

Stand and walk for entire shift.

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. continuously; push / pull up to 100 lbs. continuously.

Navigate manufacturing environments including bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, stooping, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders / stairs, and working at heights.

Regular use of hands for grasping and controlling objects.

Occasional desk work requiring computer use.

Exposure to moving machinery.

Must pass a fit-for-duty physical exam.
