The Psychiatric Institute of Washington is seeking a talented and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

Position Summary :

The Business Development Rep - Outpatient Services supports the Business Development Department and Outpatient Services with implementation of the facility's marketing plan with a focus on outpatient services. Performs community outreach functions assigned by the Business Development Department that support and enhance relationships with new and existing referral agencies and community resources. Efforts will be specifically focused on outpatient services while the OCL will be responsible for positioning PIW as the expert in the mental health field and will promote PIW as a desirable and accessible full-service psychiatric treatment facility.

The Business Development Rep - Outpatient Services works onsite 2 days a week supporting Outpatient Services and works offsite 3 days a week visiting referral sources in the Washington, DC area.

REFERRAL DEVELOPMENT

• Conducts one-to-one referral development for the geographic region maintaining existing relationships and prospecting new leads.
• Collaborates with Outpatient and Business Development Directors to plan activities to increase referral sources and improve relations, onsite events and tours at PIW, attend offsite meetings and conferences to increase visibility.
• Assess suitability of area clinicians for outpatient referral, improving network and building internal director for Case Management and Discharge Planning.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

DEVELOP MARKETING PLAN

All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
