Senior Marketing Specialist
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX! This is not a remote position. The primary purpose of this role is to be a catalyst for the growth of Kimley-Horn's Development Services practice throughout the central region. Responsibilities include assisting with identification, relationship building, pursuit, and proposal strategy for various targeted clients and projects, assisting in business development activities to ensure adequate, profitable new business is captured, researching business opportunities and assisting in strategy development, positively representing Kimley-Horn via active engagement in networking events, activities, and organizations, partnering with project managers to strategize on their market forecast, upcoming opportunities, and other potential clients / projects, partnering with the regional Marketing team to ensure proper support to project managers, favorably positioning the firm for existing and future market opportunities, supporting and leading (when appropriate) marketing efforts for proposals, presentations, and other direct work-winning activities, coordinating special projects / events, including regional conferences, and managing multiple concurrent time sensitive deadlines.
Qualifications include 10+ years of A / E / C industry experience, a Bachelors or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a similar field, flexibility to work outside normal working hours, willingness to occasionally travel (as required) for business needs, basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, confident communicator, detail-oriented and proactive, team player with a positive attitude / client service mentality, and strong ability to gather, interpret, and convey technical information.
