Job Title : Systems / Networking Engineer

Location - Little Ferry NJ - 3 DAYS ONSITE 2 DAYS REMOTE

Duration : 6 Months Contract to hire

SUMMARY OF POSITION

IT generalist who can split time between infrastructure projects (networks servers cybersecurity VoIP audit asset management) and hands-on helpdesk / desktop support. Need CYBERSECURITY (PALO ALTO FIREWALLS)

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

50% will focus on IT infrastructure Projects (Networks Servers Cyber Security VoIP Audit IT Asset Management / Tracking). The other 50% of your time will focus on helpdesk / desktop support.

Job Description

• Works with stakeholders in all levels of an organization
• Accountable for successful planning execution and closure of assigned projects / tasks
• Work independently and in a team based environment Coordination negotiation and persuasion skills
• Problem Solving Vendor management Business Acumen
• Appropriately escalates for feedback and resolution on key decisions risks and issues for assigned projects / tasks
• Installation and configuration of Windows Servers both physical and virtual
• When necessary will be tasked to help out with all aspects of the IT Department which may include : Providing Helpdesk / Desktop support IT Inventory / Audit / Compliance. Break / Fix / Imaging of users machines racking and stacking IT equipment
