Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. In order to support the mission, the Property Maintenance / Facilities Worker will work on a Full-Time basis providing property and facilities maintenance throughout our network of facilities in Gloversville, NY.

Pay rate : $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On Incentive of up to $1,500 !

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities : snow removal, grass / trash removal.

• Responsible for upkeep of Helio buildings and grounds.
• Performs maintenance and general repairs necessary to provide a safe and functional environment.
• Responds to emergency situations when requested by Supervisor of Facilities and / or Director of Facilities.
• Communicates with Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance regarding any life / safety issues along with any situations which could pose a danger to clients / staff, or agency liability.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Takes direction from Supervisor of Facilities and / or Director of Facilities and keeps him / her informed regarding progress of work.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance or Director of Facilities.
