Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Breese, IL 62230 (Southern Illinois nursing jobs)

Unit : Women and Infant (Labor & Delivery)

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 5, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (5 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,410 - $2,580

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of application)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required

Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Breese, IL (travel nursing requirement)

Ability to work every other weekend

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women and infants in the Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery

Administer medications and assist with pain management as needed

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals

Educate and support patients and their families during the childbirth process

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
