Materials Coordinator I

Vast is looking for a Materials Coordinator reporting to the Manager Test Site Operations to support the development of the inspection systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

This will be a full-time non-exempt position located in our Mojave location .

Responsibilities :

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Fulfill material requests within a timely manner according to department SLA.
• Safeguard inventory by strict adherence to processes procedures and guidance to maintain inventory accuracy of 95%.
• Record material issuance and return to stock (RTS).
• Effectively communicate discrepancies damages and concerns.
• Receipt of inbound materials and confirm packing slip accuracy.
• Transact material into inventory.
• Load and unload vehicles manually and with a forklift.
• Safely operate forklift pallet jack hand truck and other warehousing equipment and tools.
• Complete all annual training before deadlines.
• Adapt to changing responsibilities as needed to achieve company goals.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
