Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT leader to manage Workplace Services across our domestic sites, ensuring a seamless end-user experience for all employees. This role is responsible for day-to-day IT support operations, managing a diverse team, overseeing IT service delivery, and leading projects to modernize workplace technologies including printing and audio-visual solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 20 staff and contractors across multiple Workplace Services functions, including Service Desk, Executive Support, AV, MAC / PC support, mobility, procurement, and asset management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT (ESC) and end users, ensuring high-quality customer experience (CX) and driving continuous improvement in IT support processes (Chat-IT, Self Service, Phone).
  • Oversee major workplace technology projects, including printing and Audio / Video Enhancement.
  • Manage workplace IT budgets (Expense & Capital) for PC, AV, and related services.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 licenses, ensuring proper allocation, renewal, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Provide escalation support for critical incidents and ensure executive support services run smoothly.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, accountability, and customer-centric service within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Alternatively, a technical school diploma combined with relevant professional experience, or a degree in Management with strong IT exposure, will also be considered.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT service delivery, workplace services, or end-user computing.
  • Strong leadership background managing diverse technical teams.
  • Experience with enterprise printing solutions, AV technologies, and end-user device deployment.
  • Excellent communication, customer engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Ability to drive projects from planning through to execution in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Summary Pay Range : $125,925.00 - $188,887.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
