Description

SUMMARY : To retain and maintain retirement plan client relationships of the Bank, as well as create new retirement plan investment advisory relationships with clients outside the Bank. Additionally, the retirement plan advisor will be responsible for the financial performance of their business, seeing to it that the department is profitable and achieves established goals while staying within budget parameters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following :

• Managing a book of retirement plan investment advisory business
• Developing and implementing an Investment Policy Statement (IPS)
• Monitoring investments for soundness and appropriateness on a plan level basis
• Conducting regular investment review meetings with new and existing clients
• Develop / enhance referral process from Bank associates to Retirement Plan Services / Investment Reps
• Clearly define and communicate the profile of a potential corporate retirement plan client
• Generate referrals from the Bank by being visible in offices, developing partnerships with Bank personnel and training Bank associates to ask probing questions of clients who fit a corporate retirement plan profile
• Develop and strengthen lead generation from other Centers of Influence
• Conduct direct client prospecting
• Oversee the performance of any administrative associates directly reporting to them
• Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
