Job Summary

As a Bag Making Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment that produces paper or plastic bags. You’ll ensure machines are running smoothly, monitor quality, perform basic maintenance, and help package finished products.

Key Responsibilities

Load printed rolls into the bag-making machine

Monitor automatic feeding, folding, gluing, and cutting operations

Inspect completed bags for quality and accuracy

Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production standards

Pack finished products into boxes and stack onto pallets

Print and verify product labels for accuracy

Track time and materials used in an ERP system

Perform basic maintenance and replace worn parts as needed

Keep work area clean and organized

Work 8-hour shifts with availability for overtime

Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting abilities

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to lift up to 50lb and stand for long periods

Basic computer skills; ERP system knowledge is a plus

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
