Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,942 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title : RN Labor and Delivery Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 06 : 45 PM - 07 : 15 AM Hours per Shift : 13 Experience : Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery / Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service License : Registered Nurse license Certifications : BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have : - Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school / college of nursing - BLS Provider certification from recognized organizations - Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics - Advanced Life Support certification from recognized organizations - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Description : Required experience includes a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery / Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service. Preferred experience includes 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service. Preferred additional certifications include S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification. The facility is a Level IV Client Designation with 20 Labor Delivery Recovery suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. It operates as an academic teaching service as well as serving large private OB practices. The delivery service is high-risk and fast-paced, performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. A Perinatal Transport Program is also available. Expansion plans are in place for a new Women's Tower in early 2026.
