Substation Operator
Timberline Construction Inc. (FB Timberline) is seeking experienced Substation Operators to support the operations team based out of Cayce, South Carolina.
The Substation Operator will operate various machines such as Pressure Diggers, Dozers, Excavators and Powerline pulling equipment. The successful candidate will assist in providing manual labor support in assuring project deadlines are met in conjunction with instructions from the Construction Manager.

Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every dayProficiently operate assigned heavy company equipment when assignedEnsuring safety and quality is at the forefront of every taskOperate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and proceduresPerform daily safety and maintenance checksClean heavy equipment as scheduled and / or requiredEnsure heavy equipment is safely and securely storedAdvise the Public Works Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairsParticipate in routine maintenance and engage in daily Tailboard meetings, identify hazards and assist in crew compliance to safety policies and regulationsAdhere to safety protocols and policies as outlinedWork with construction equipment such as compactors, shoring, core drills, various hand toolsEnsure cleanliness of sites by routinely removing garbage and other debrisPerform other tasks related to this function as assignedWhat We Are Looking For :
Minimum three (3) years' experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, crawler tractors, loaders is requiredOperators certificate from a licensed service provider and valid CDL license, is requiredExperience with the following equipment considered an asset; Quick detach loaders, Vibro-Hammer, LoDrilCDL A license with air brakes considered assetAbility to recognize site hazards and implement hierarchy of controls to eliminate hazards with crew membersAble and willing to work in field / site with travel and work hour flexibility to accommodate to remote / site work schedulesAble and willing to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions, climates, and environments at various heights inclusive of heavy liftingHave and maintain a Commercial Driver License and able and willing to provide an acceptable MVRDisclaimer : In compliance with Client and Project / Work site requirements, candidates may be required to undergo pre-access screening
