The successful Equipment Operator / Laborer candidate will safely perform the basic tasks required to load, unload and move petroleum coke at the PABTEX Facility and Terminal located in Port Arthur, TX.

Here is what you will be doing :
Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero tolerance safety objectivesOperate / maintain heavy equipment including front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, ship loader, conveyors, stacker / reclaimer, rail cars, locomotives and other mobile equipmentComplete and maintain required daily paperworkHousekeeping duties, including shoveling, washing down of work areas, and keeping offices, restrooms, break rooms and work rooms clean and tidyAssist Maintenance personnel, as needed and directedOccasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by SupervisionRequirements of a successful Equipment Operator :
1+ year Heavy Equipment experienceMust have the ability to obtain a TWIC cardBe able to read, write and understand English and follow written and / or verbal instructionsPhysically able to handle large tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heightsPossess Environmental & Safety awarenessMust be able to work a rotating (days / nights) 12-hour shift to include weekends, holidays and overtime as necessaryHigh School or GED1 year refinery, plant or industrial experienceOccasionally work in areas outside of your normal dutiesHere are some of the physical requirements for this role :
