Omnitrans, provider of public mass transit for the San Bernardino Valley in Southern California is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate hired will, under the direction of the Chief Strategy & Planning Officer andwill oversee paratransit demand response services in compliance with state, federal, and local laws and regulations concerning individuals with disabilities. Responsible for the administration of the purchased transportation contract. The primary focus of this position is the effective and efficient management of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit service contract.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises assigned staff and Interns. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree; and four (4) or more years of increasingly responsible related experience in transit operations, demand response paratransit operations, fixed route operations, transportation management, or contract administration.
KNOWLEDGE OF :
Knowledge of transit operations, and a general knowledge of vehicle design, operation and maintenance. Ability to apply contract principles to proposals or current
contracts. Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Knowledge of and ability to interpret changing laws and regulations, in the oversite of paratransit service delivery.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Must be knowledgably in current business operating systems, software, and programs. Transit or Paratransit scheduling in Transitmaster, Trapeze or similar software preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGULATIONS Possession of valid California driver's license (Class C) and good driving record.

Candidates will be screened for relevant qualifying experience that consists of an evaluation of education and experience. The most competitively qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the selection process. The selection process may include a combination of written, performance, and oral examinations.
