JMT Technology Group, a leading technology services and solutions provider, has an opening for a Computer Support Specialist. The Computer Support Specialist will provide technical support to internal users, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and network systems. They will handle support requests via phone, ticketing system, and in-person, documenting issues and solutions. As well as manage hardware and software deployment in compliance with licensing and asset management standards. And, contribute to technical research and development to support ongoing innovation and ensures all systems and procedures align with organizational values.

Essential functions and responsibilities
Respond promptly to support calls and service desk tickets
Troubleshoot and resolve technical IT issues for end users
Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams for specialized support
Stay current with industry best practices and technology trends
Maintain hardware and software inventory for compliance
Configure and deploy hardware and software to users
Perform software installations in line with licensing requirements
Document processes and solutions

Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years in an IT help desk or technical support role
Preferred Experience
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+)
Experience with asset management, incident management, and deployment tools
Proficiency with Microsoft solutions (Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory, Entra, Intune, SharePoint)
Experience supporting network printers, audiovisual equipment, and Apple iPads
Experience supporting Autodesk and Bentley software
Technical documentation and knowledgebase creation skills
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions
Workdays will be Monday-Friday. Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
