About the Role

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for receiving, examining, and processing vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments, supporting the financial health of the company. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with a strong ability to maintain accurate records and work across multiple departments.

This is a full-time, in-office position requiring five days a week in the Eugene, Oregon office.

Key Responsibilities

Review invoices and payments for vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy of payment, terms, approvals, and general ledger coding.

Process and track vendor transactions and maintain organized records.

Perform statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist with the period-end close process, including posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.

Prepare and file compliance requirements, including issuing 1099s and ensuring W-9s are current.

Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding Accounts Payable to ensure vendor satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to Accounts Payable.

Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.

Experience Requirements and Skills

Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook required).

Strong typing and 10-key skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated, and proactive.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and remain flexible with workload and assignments.
