This engineering position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division .We are looking for talented, creative, and driven manufacturing engineers to innovate and create products that support the growth of the Company and Engineering Department.

As we are in a time of rapid growth and development, we are looking for candidates to eventually advance and lead others within the organization. It is important that you are a teachable individual, open to learning new systems, receiving feedback, and adapting with us as we continue to grow as a company. We truly value passionate and down-to-earth people who are driven to get things done and find creative solutions to problems.

A candidate must currently live in, or be willing to relocate within, the Wichita metropolitan area.

ENGINEERING

Focus on Engineering design and Production

Hands-on use of software for product design

Support production in fabrication and machining, estimating & procurement

Participation in product compliance (UL, ETL, etc.) activities

Lead and manage regulatory testing programs to verify compliance to UL / IEC standards

Participates in design documentation reviews to ensure that the released designs comply with regulatory standards

Develop projects from conceptual design to full manufacturing capability

Promote and Develop Engine sales to other Manufacturers

Develop ideas for new products to manufacture

Acts as project manager for individual and larger project efforts

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of hands on testing experience with power products
  • 3+yearsAutoCAD drafting experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles.
  • Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through.
  • Ability to understand, embrace, and implement new technologies as they evolve.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • General sense of resiliency with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well with others from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Willing to put forth the honest effort in order to be successful.
