Principle Pipeline Engineer

Description :

Successful candidate will be working under direct supervision of the Subsea Engineering Manager. Prepare detailed mechanical pipeline design calculations related to wall thickness, on-bottom stability analysis, free span analysis, expansion analysis, lateral or buckling analysis. Perform pipe reeling analysis, pipeline, riser and umbilical installation engineering. Provide bid engineering support related to pipeline design and installation engineering. Perform FE analysis and detailed calculation for Subsea structures. Familiarity with pipeline and structural design codes (API, DnV, ASME, BS) and company ISO 9001 procedures. The following will be desired : Pipeline mechanical design : - Wall thickness calculation - Span analysis - Pipeline thermal expansion - Hydrodynamic force calculations Pipe reeling analysis - Global reeling analysis - spooling configuration and roller layout - Local buckling check for reeling-on and back tension calculations - Straightening analysis and initial straightener setting determination - Transition design and analysis - Ovality calculation and residual ovality prediction - Pulling head design and analysis Pipeline installation analysis - Pipeline initiation analysis - Pipeline normal lay analysis - PLET lowering and laydown analysis 10+ years of experience
