Job Description

THIS IS DISPATCH 3 DAYS Support

Scope anticipated :

Day 1 – Pre-deployment site visit (Estimated 3 hours) - estimate 1 week before go-live date

Objective : Prepare and stage network devices for onsite deployment, ensuring readiness for the move day. This will occur 1 week before go-live date.

Activities :

  • Confirm rack is installed and grounded
  • Confirm UPS is connected - Mount in the rack, configure IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway, and connect to the network (if managed).
  • Confirm room looks clean and ready for go-live date
  • Confirm all patch panels are installed and connected
  • Confirm all WAPs are installed
  • Confirm all material are ready for installation date
  • Cables
  • Carts
  • Provide checklist of any deficiencies to the Project Manager and send pictures of site in current state

Deliverables :

  • Complete a walkthrough of the site and confirm the location is ready for go-live day activities. Send checklist of deficiencies to address to Project Manager (if any)
  • Day 2 - Go-live Day Activities (Estimated 5 hours) - go-live date

  • Prepare New Site Router :
  • Unpack, mount in the rack, connect power and cables, and retain packaging for legacy equipment transport.
  • Prepare New Site Switch :
  • Unpack, mount in the rack, connect power and cables, and retain packaging for legacy equipment transport.
  • Network Equipment Relocation (Wiring Closet) :
  • Remove and label the router, switch, UPS, and DIGI from the legacy rack.
  • Package all equipment for shipment to the new site.
  • Printer Relocation (if required) :
  • Disconnect the network printer from the network.
  • Transport equipment to the new building using provided carts.
  • Equipment Installation at New Site :
  • Reinstall and reconnect equipment, including two access points, the network printer, Digi and reconnection of Video conferencing equipment.
  • Network cabling – Connect all cables per the cabling diagram.
  • Work with Remote resource to confirm connectivity of hardware installed & install DIGI
  • Send pictures of hardware connections and labels to Project Manager
  • Day 3 - Post-Implementation (4 hours) - day after go-live date

    Objective : Provide remote and onsite support to review site and address immediate needs on any identified issues

    Activities :

    Post Go-Live Support : (Estimated 4 Hours).

  • Deploy smart hands resources onsite to assist IT staff with final validations and adjustments.
  • Test the site to make sure all network hardware is working as intended
  • Identify any potential issues and create working list for network team to complete
  • Confirm full functionality from a network perspective
  • Verify proper cable connections
  • Deliverables :

  • Compile list of any deficiencies and provide to remote resource to address
  • Confirm site is operational
  • Provide project Manager update of any identified issues to be addresse
