Job Title
Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical circuits, appliances, systems, facilities, and related electrical controls and devices. Responsibilities include installing disconnects, lights, devices, and electrical panels, and performing periodic operations, maintenance, and supervision of generators and switch gear. The role also involves troubleshooting switch gear circuits, voltage regulators, and control switches, and replacing circuit components. Plans, estimates, and commissions new installations or renovations of electrical systems or equipment. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, state licensure as journeyman electrician or master electrician, and three years of direct experience.
