Job Title : Instructional Designer – Learning & Development

Location : Remote, CST time zone

Duration : 3-month contract with potential of extension

Compensation : $45 / hour W2

Work schedule : Monday-Friday (8 AM-5PM CST)

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and edit engaging learning experiences across various media formats.
  • Support initiatives such as onboarding, compliance, leadership development, and apprenticeship programs.
  • Conduct field visits to identify knowledge gaps and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate on program implementation and long-term sustainability.
  • Prepare and distribute training materials (, handouts, visual aids, evaluations).
  • Evaluate learning outcomes and recommend improvements.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker who contributes innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Strong collaborator who values diverse perspectives and teamwork.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with multimedia tools (Inkling, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Microsoft Office).
  • Familiarity with Learning & Development and Project Management practices.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret feedback and data.
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
