In the role of Real Estate Services Agent I, we'll count on you to :

• Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and non-complex negotiations for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assigned
• Review appraisals and research comparable properties, prepare Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations following the Federal and State guidelines as applicable
• Verify ownership and the extent of interests; prepare offer packages; and maintain complete and detailed records / files with owner contacts, agency representatives, project team
• Prepare non-survey quality maps, drawings, exhibits and detailed progress reports to provide to owners and clients to aid in the Agent's negotiations
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience with federal, state and local agencies, private industry and landowners to facilitate the acquisition of necessary right of way for public projects
• Knowledgeable in title research and utility acquisition practices for permanent and temporary easements
• Be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experienced with relational databases and agreement documentation
• Conduct research and navigate the Internet
• Read, review and quality check engineering project plans and legal descriptions
• Draft various types of real estate documents, such as but not limited to deeds, easements, leases, and purchase agreements
• Be available for travel (in state and out of state) as needed
