Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry plumbing painting masonry appliance repair and electrical wiring. Complete set-ups and tear-downs for scheduled campus events. Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities. Perform on-call duties as needed / assigned. Remove snow with shovels blowers and plows when necessary. Provide logistical support for campus activities ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assist with fire drills lockdowns and other safety exercises. Help manage traffic flow and parking on campus. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of experience in general maintenance or building trades (e.g. carpentry plumbing). Valid drivers license. Strong problem-solving skills able to work independently or as part of a team. Flexible friendly with good communication and time management skills. Must be able to lift / move up to 50 pounds work from ladders and perform tasks requiring bending reaching and crawling. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk long distances across campus. Experience in CMMS software program(s) Requires stooping kneeling crawling bending turning and reaching Requires climbing and balancing Must work in and around dust fumes and odors. Must provide a criminal background check.
