Job Summary
The Administrative Fellowship Program is designed to foster the development of management and leadership skills in individuals committed to a career in healthcare administration. The Fellow will receive hands-on practical experience in operational, organizational, and financial management aspects of an Independent Healthcare System. The Fellow will be offered opportunities to share ideas, develop a personalized development plan, and support departmental efforts through guided professional experiences with an assigned mentor and various preceptors. The Fellow will work with various Lexington Medical Center Physician Practices, LMC Hospital Departments, and Community Medical Centers with their leadership.
Fellowship Duration : One year
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education : Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, Health Services Management, Public Health or Related Field
Minimum Years of Experience : None
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional) : None
Required Certifications / Licensure : None
Required Training : Theoretical knowledge of the healthcare delivery system;
Proficiency is MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
