Petroleum Service Technician (Entry Level All Training Provided!)
The service technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing automotive, electronic, hydraulic, and / or mechanical petroleum equipment and products as applicable. The type of service repair work includes pumps, tanks, monitors, gauges, and meter read-outs. Anything involving petroleum industry products.
Troubleshoots, performs repairs and preventative maintenance of fueling systems.
Monitors and is accountable for the accuracy of parts inventory on service van including, but not limited to, transfers of parts to appropriate jobs and other service techs as applicable as well as returns to warehouse facilities.
Analyzes electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
Installs, programs and tests new equipment.
Communicates with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
Must-haves :
6+ months of previous experience working in the mechanical or electrical industry.
6+ months of operating mechanical equipment and machines or farm labor or mechanic experience.
High School diploma or GED.
6+ months of customer service.
Must be willing to submit to a MVR (driving record check).
Nice to have :
Preferred experience in service station / fueling equipment repair.
Based out of Hopkins, Minnesota. Work all over the state, depending on how far you are willing to travel.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr.
