Telecommunications Engineer

Payrate : $65.00 - $70.00 / hr.

Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and data-minded Technical Transport engineer with expertise in Microwave engineering to join our team. This person should understand microwave design / process and be able to communicate effectively and drive projects to completion.

Skills :

• Understand Mw Design and Nokia Platform.
• Prep / build equipment and paths in CND (XNG)
• Attend market calls and be able to give meaningful updates.
• Knowledge and experience with Granite (CND) circuit database
• IP knowledge and understanding of routing / assigning IPs
• Proficient in office computer applications : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Decision making skills (by making appropriate use of all available information and data; anticipating the future and preparing accordingly.
• Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and be able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills needed.
• Need to be highly productive and pay close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with engineering and engineering economic principles preferred.
• Optical Transport systems including : ALU / Nokia 7705 & IXRe routers
• Gather and analyze data related to microwave systems and provide actionable insights to the construction team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Pay Transparency : The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is : $65.00 - $70.00 / hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
