Niceville, FL Hospitalist Locum Tenens

December 22–28 Only | 7a–7p + 1 Night Call Shift | Emergency Privs Possible

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) licensed in Florida for an urgent 7-day locum tenens assignment in Niceville, Florida .

This is a high-acuity environment with manageable census, APP support, and no procedures required .

This assignment is strictly December 22–28 — perfect for physicians seeking a short-term, well-supported holiday block.

Assignment Overview

  • Location : Niceville, Florida
  • Setting : Acute Care Hospital
  • Contract Type : Locum Tenens

Coverage Dates (no extensions) :

  • December 22–28 | 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM
  • Night Call : December 22 | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

    • Call Type : Beeper call

  • Call-back compensated at hourly rate

    • Clinical Scope & Patient Load

  • Daily Census : 15–20 patients
  • ICU Rounding : Yes (8-bed ICU)
  • Procedures Required : None

    • Hospitalist APP Coverage :

  • 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM
  • 12 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 PM
  • Admissions / Discharges : Standard hospitalist workflow
  • Specialty Backup : Available through onsite specialists and transfer agreements
  • Environment : High-reliability, community-based acute care setting

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Active & Unrestricted Florida Medical License
  • Board Certified : Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Clean File Required for emergency privileges
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year recent inpatient hospitalist experience
  • Comfort : Managing ICU patients without procedures
  • Start Date : Must be fully available for all dates listed above
