Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a pharmaceutical manufacturorer on the east side of Indianapolis who is looking to add a production operator to their team. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join theirdynamic team at a leading medication coating manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a forklift operator and manufacturing operator , with a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency in a regulated production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor medication coating machines and related production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Set up, clean, and perform minor maintenance on production equipment to ensure consistent operation.

Handle raw materials and finished products safely, including loading / unloading using a forklift (valid certification preferred).

Perform quality checks and document results to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company standards.

Follow detailed batch records and production instructions accurately.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and resolve equipment or process issues.

Assist in inventory management, material staging, and warehouse duties as required.

Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing / production operator role, preferably in pharmaceuticals, food, or other regulated industries.

Forklift operation experience (valid certification is a plus).

Familiarity with GMP , SOPs , and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, batch records, and work instructions.

Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
