Primary Functions
- Present, promote and sell products / services to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Forecast and achieve sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales initiatives with team members and other departments
- Continually analyze the territory and market potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Experience
Proven experience as a sales representativeMinimum 3 years of industry sales experience preferredFamiliarity with Sensus products and technologiesExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to create and deliver presentations to meet audience needsWilling to travelValid driver’s license and good driving record required, company vehicle providedHighly motivated with ability to work well independently and with a teamStrong interpersonal communication skills with high emphasis on customer serviceExcellent selling, communication and negotiation skillsExcellent prioritization, time management and organizationFamiliarity with CRM practicesFamiliarity with the utility service provider (water, electric, gas) industryCompany Description
