Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapy Assistant is an individual who, after comprehensive training, can function independently in some aspects of respiratory care. The responsibilities of the respiratory therapy assistant to demonstrate proficiency in all noninvasive modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapy Assistant will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be following hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Therapists in the clinical care setting. Supports Customer First Initiatives.
