job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist in civil engineering design and analysis for roads, drainage systems, and site development projects Prepare drawings, calculations, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers Conduct site visits and inspections as needed Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project drafting and modeling Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using PondPack, StormCAD, and / or ICPR4 Assist with feasibility studies, data collection, and cost estimating Ensure design compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Ability to pass a basic CAD test EIT certification or working toward it Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic software (PondPack, StormCAD, ICPR4) Understanding of local engineering standards Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM Location : Onsite in Jacksonville, FL (not remote or hybrid) Overtime : Expected and paid at 1.5x rate Job Type : Contract-to-Direct Hire (FTE conversion after ~ 6-months) | Direct Hire also considered Background Check : Required (7 years) Drug Screen : Required Sponsorship : Not available
