Job Description

The Environmental Specialist is responsible for performing construction site inspections, report writing, Phase I investigations, and sample collection for lab submission. The work will be conducted on commercial, industrial, and storm-impacted structures. This role involves managing project sites, meeting deadlines, maintaining client relations, and ensuring project profitability while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction site inspections and report findings.
• Perform Phase I environmental investigations and collect samples for laboratory analysis.
• Operate and oversee project sites, managing time and resources effectively.
• Maintain and build positive client relations.
• Produce profitable projects and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Report any project challenges to the Project Manager or immediate supervisor.
• Identify and communicate potential business leads to the Business Development Manager.

Work Environment

The Environmental Specialist is required to be at the office or project site from 8 : 00 . to 5 : 00 ., Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The position is on-call during other hours when on a project site. The role requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week, with a combination of salaried and hourly work depending on project availability.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $55000.00 / yr.
