Job Summary :
The Live Event Producer will bring a creative vision to the event, enhancing the entire experience for attendees.They are responsible for the overall success and smooth execution of the event, ensuring everything runs efficiently and handling any issues that arise quickly and proficiently.
Essential Job Functions :
- Direct the event and serve as a liaison between the DIRTVision Producer, At-track Announcer(s), Race Control and Videoboard operators at each event to ensure a smooth, entertaining program for the attendees
- Keep the fans’ at-track experience and entertainment front of mind and push to make that experience the best it can be at every event
- Work closely withthe videoboard operator tobring the event to life through on-screen content / graphics, video and live performance
- Ability to multi-task throughout the event with a calm demeanor while being able to be assertive leading with the best intentions of the event in mind
- Set and follow a run of show for each event with the ability to adapt and pivot as the event develops
- Assist and / or setup video transmission equipment at each event
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Work with the production team to create original, entertaining content for in-race, at-track video elements
- Follow guides set for delivering sponsor and in-event deliverables
- Work with videoboard and fan engagement team members to develop ideas and plans for new content
- Basic production / assembly of nightly video elements as needed
- Set-up, take down, store and maintain equipment at each event
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Experience in producing large scale live eventsBackground in creative visual storytelling and experience with live show and video productionAbility to lead and manage others towards a common goalAble to maintain a positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situationsAbility and willingness to understand and learn new technologyUnderstanding of basic video production preferredUnderstanding of Adobe Creative Suite a plusAble to take initiative and quickly complete multiple high-priority requestsHistory of and willingness to work in a team environmentAble to verbally communicate professionally and effectively at all timesHigh sense of initiative, ownership and personal accountability requiredAdditional Requirements :
Time Demands : In addition to a traditional work week, this position may be utilized during evening and / or weekend hours especially during racing seasonPhysical Demands : This position requires frequent sitting and occasional walking and standing, the use of hands to grasp and feel frequently, the occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds; infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds and may require use of close vision under natural and artificial light.
