Pay Rate : $26.50 / hour | Benefits Available

About the Role Our client is seeking a Lab Automation Technician to support high-throughput laboratory operations processing over 300,000 plant samples annually. This position is ideally suited for someone who thrives in a commercial lab environment, enjoys hands-on, repetitive lab work, and is eager to contribute to large-scale sequencing and DNA extraction workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automated platforms to perform high-throughput Next Sequencing (NGS) library prep and DNA extractions.
• Follow established protocols to ensure all tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with QMS guidelines.
• Conduct routine sample and reagent preparation, consumable stocking, and daily maintenance tasks.
• Register task completion using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
• Support sequencing runs for multiple crop species including cotton and soybean.
• Communicate progress proactively with team members and supervisors.
