Compensation : $22-25 / hr

SUMMARY

Responsible for using data to determine reliability and conformance of quality control process. Accountable for identifying trends and reoccurring issues and suggesting solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs complex tests and analyses to assure that products comply with established specifications.

Carries out difficult calculations and prepares documentation that shows the results of tests performed.

This is a volume driven position that that directly touches product.

Collects and compiles data on reoccurring product defects.

Reviews raw material inspection logs and creates list of consistent failures.

Implements work processes, measurements and performance metrics to identify improvement areas.

Attends meetings with customers, suppliers and associates to understand standards and expectations.

Supports process improvement teams.

Monitors and scrutinizes internal and external complaints and compiles data to be used in reports.

Gathers and assembles details on defective products and materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS in chemistry, biology, or related discipline

Computer experience (Microsoft, LIMS)

1-2+ yrs Experience working in a GMP environment

Good communication skills both oral and written
