License : Valid state license required (DC or MD)

Must-Have :
1 year EP Lab clinical experience required
Local candidates within 60 miles encouraged to apply
Cerner charting experience required
Electrophysiology lab experience required

Description :
Seeking an Electrophysiology Technician for the EP Lab.
The role requires starting in December for optimal scheduling.
The shift includes three days of late case coverage per week.
Daily caseload averages 18 cases.
Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCES or CCI RCIS.
Preferred certifications include ARRT and fluoro permit.
Experience with Philips and Siemens X-ray machines is essential.
Candidates should be familiar with hemodynamic monitoring and ablative procedures.
Experience with obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms, and EKG settings is mandatory.
Candidates will be involved in various procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies and device implants.
Preferred experience setting up and utilizing 3D mapping systems and other EP lab equipment.
Work setting may include trauma and children's hospital environments.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of patient care across various age groups, including adults and geriatrics.
Daily responsibilities will include assisting with device implants, performing EKG lead placements, and maintaining patient records.
The facility charts using Cerner and utilizes various medication management systems.
Candidates will work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital environment and will engage in collaborative patient care.
