Quality Custom Distribution is hiring Warehouse Candidates to work at our Roseville Location in MN.

Job Description

We are hiring Order Selectors / Pickers to work on our floor.

Starting pay is $22.55 / hr. Pay increase to 24.60 after a successful completion of 90-day probationary period

4-day work week with 3 days off

1st shift 6 : 30AM start time

Must be able to work in the Freezer and Cooler for the majority of the day

This is a physical job, lifting up to 75 pounds and on your feet for the duration of the day

Qualifications :

Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting, with a focus on order picking and packing.

Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely.

Strong organizational skills to ensure accurate order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes.

Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.

Prior experience in shipping and receiving, with an understanding of stock management and quality control procedures.

Skills :

Experience with order picking in a distribution center or warehouse setting.

Mechanical knowledge to operate order picking equipment.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.

Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly work area.

POSITION SUMMARY

Receives, selects, stores and loads products and / or materials. Safely operates all material handling equipment. Accurately completes all associated paper work. Maintains clean work area consistent with company standards.

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions :

1. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, continuously picks, lifts, carries and places product into a pallet to accurately build customer orders in various temperature environments. Moves product into a trailer or storage unit, is responsible for visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and / or receiving of product.

2. Reads labels and or printing on product containers and associated documents. Counts and calculates quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment.

3. Must be able to consistently meet company safety, accuracy and productivity standards. Steps into the driving position and uses full range of peripheral vision to operate a forklift or pallet jack in an accident free manner.

4. Uses brooms, mops and other cleaning materials (including solvents and soaps) to clean work area. Completes any other functions that may be assigned.

• 20 % Lifts, carries and picks product
• 15 % Reads labels and associated documents and counts and calculates using math
• 20 % Inspects incoming and outgoing product
• 75 % Operates forklift and pallet jack

100% Cleans work area

Qualifications Required of this Position :

Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Possess reading and basic math skills. Physically capable of standing, walking and twisting while carrying 50 pound objects. Able to work in cold environment and experience temperature changes. Able to work day shift, weekends, and holidays as required.
