Senior AI / ML Engineer

Awetomaton is seeking a Senior AI / ML Engineer to establish our first onsite presence with existing customers in Boulder, CO. In this role you will use your OPIR domain expertise to identify salient features for development of new AI / ML models. You will use Python and appropriate AI / ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) to develop and mature R&D exploitation capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a MS degree or higher in AI / ML field with 10-15 years of professional experience.

This position will be performed entirely onsite in Boulder, CO. Active DoD Secret security clearance and background check required. We are looking for a candidate to start in the July 2025 timeframe. Application deadline of May 31, 2025.

• Demonstrate initiative when faced with limited guidance or ambiguous   req uirements
• AI / ML expertise in Python
• Expertise in OPIR image processing and data exploitation

Salary

The salary for this position is $150,000 to $240,000 / year. Awetomaton takes multiple factors into consideration when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, as well as prior work experience, education / training, and key skills. Only exceptional candidates will meet expectations to approach the top end of salary range.
