Commercial HVAC Foreman

Location : Phoenix, Arizona

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $30.00 – $45.00 per hour (DOE) + overtime + benefits

Industry : Commercial HVAC / Mechanical Construction

We are a locally owned commercial HVAC contractor serving clients throughout the Phoenix metro area .Our team specializes in HVAC installation and retrofits for schools, hospitals, industrial buildings, and office complexes .

We're seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead field crews, coordinate daily operations, and deliver top-quality installations.If you're a skilled leader ready to take the next step in your HVAC career, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews on commercial construction and retrofit projects
  • Plan daily tasks, assign crew work, and monitor progress and safety
  • Read and interpret blueprints, duct layouts, and mechanical drawings
  • Oversee installation of :

Rooftop Units (RTUs)

  • VRF / VRV systems
  • Split systems and chillers
  • Ductwork, piping, insulation, and controls
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
  • Train and mentor apprentices and technicians
  • Track hours, materials, and project updates; communicate with management
  • Support system startup, testing, and commissioning

    • Requirements

  • 5–8 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a foreman or lead installer
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems common to Arizona's commercial projects
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and schematics
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors and on rooftops in high-heat conditions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Arizona Mechanical License or journeyman-level certification
  • EPA 608 Certification (refrigerant handling)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Familiarity with Phoenix-area mechanical codes
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
