Pay :

From $18 / hour + performance bonuses + commissions

About Us :

Mosquito Hunters of Cedar Park - Leander - Georgetown is a growing, locally owned pest control company based in North Austin. We protect families and outdoor spaces from mosquitoes and pests and during the holidays, we bring cheer with custom professional lighting installations.

We are seeking reliable, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable on rooftops, and are eager to grow with a startup-minded company.

Responsibilities :

Pest Control Technician Duties :

Arrive on time and ready for scheduled services
Inspect residential and light commercial properties for pest activity
Apply pest control treatments safely and according to regulations
Provide education and prevention tips to customers
Keep detailed service records and maintain company equipment
Recommend and upsell additional services where appropriate

Ground Marketing Duties :

Distribute door hangers on designated routes (no knocking or speaking)

Track and report daily distribution numbers

Represent the company professionally while in the field

Holiday Lighting Installer Duties (Seasonal) :

Install and remove holiday lights on rooftops, trees, and gutters

Work on ladders and rooftops must be comfortable with heights

Use safety harnesses and fall protection when required

Assist in warehouse prep and post-season takedown

Qualifications :

Must be 18 years or older

Valid drivers license with clean driving record

Able to lift 40 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions

Comfortable with heights, ladders, and roof work

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Friendly attitude and excellent customer service skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Willing to work occasional Saturdays (weather make-up days)

Preferred (but not required) :

Sales experience

Background in pest control, landscaping, lighting, roofing, or labor-intensive roles

Compensation & Perks :

18 / hour+ (higher pay for experience or licensing)

End-of-Season Bonus : $250 + $250 if returning next season

Google Review Bonus : $15 per 5-star review (with tech name)

New Customer Bonus : % commission for 12 months

Upsell Bonus : % commission for 12 months

Referral Bonus : $250 for each tech hired (after 30 days)
